Bijnor: After a minor dispute, a youth drove a tractor over people sitting by the road. Three people died on the spot, while a woman was seriously injured. The incident took place in Jamaluddinpur village. It was reported that Veerendra Singh, a resident of Datiyana village, had a minor dispute with some people the previous evening. After arguments and a scuffle between both sides, the matter was settled. It is alleged that around 8 pm, Veerendra arrived at Jamaluddinpur with a tractor and ran over people sitting by the road. The deceased have been identified as Udai, Baburam, and Mahendra Singh. The woman who was run over by the tractor has been admitted to the hospital. According to eyewitnesses, the tractor collided with an electric pole and overturned, preventing a larger accident. After the incident, there was a night-long confrontation between the police and villagers. The police have sent three bodies for post-mortem. Two FIRs have been registered in the case, and three accused have been arrested. The police are searching for other accused.
