The Central Assistant Labour Commissioner's office in Asansol has launched a special drive to create awareness among workers about their rights and facilities. The main aim is to inform workers about their legal rights and how to obtain them. It includes various issues such as minimum wage, timely wage, equal wage, gratuity, safety at work place etc. K C Sahu, the Central Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner of Asansol, participated in this awareness campaign. He said it is necessary for workers to know where to contact for their help and rights.
