A review meeting on preparations for the 2027 census was held in Amroha. The meeting was chaired by District Census Officer Garima Singh, with the presence of SDM, Tahsildar, Deputy Commissioner, and Education Department officials. Officials were informed that staff from various departments will be deployed as enumerators and supervisors. The District Census Officer sought information on preparations from the officials and issued necessary instructions. She informed that the main census operation will be conducted from 1 December 2026 to 4 January 2027. A revision round will be conducted from 5 to 9 January 2027. This time, people will also be able to conduct self-census between 16 and 30 November 2026. In this process, people will be able to register their census information themselves.
