Deputy CM Rajendra Shukla said that youth participation will strengthen the TB elimination campaign. 'Josh' (Joint Squad for Health) teams include My Bharat volunteers and NCC cadets, who will help identify potential TB patients and connect them with health services.

The 'Josh' team was launched at Gandhi Medical College. Shukla said that due to extensive screening, 1.12 lakh TB patients have been identified in Madhya Pradesh so far. The event also honored TB-free village panchayats, Nikshay partners, and health officials and staff.

He appealed to the youth to actively participate in the TB elimination campaign and create awareness among people about timely examination and treatment.
